According to Kirsty, the requirement covers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approved providers and anyone with management or control<\/li>\n<li>Nominated supervisors<\/li>\n<li>Persons in day-to-day charge<\/li>\n<li>All educators (qualified and unqualified, including those studying)<\/li>\n<li>Support staff, volunteers, and students on placement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;If they&#8217;re directly or indirectly involved in the care and education of children, they need to complete this training,&#8221; Kirsty explains. &#8220;It&#8217;s the approved provider&#8217;s responsibility to ensure everyone has completed it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What happens if you don&#8217;t comply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kirsty was clear on this: &#8220;Authorised officers will be checking compliance during assessment and rating visits. Without the training certificate, staff won&#8217;t be able to work in the centre. It&#8217;s a legal requirement.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>No training certificate = no compliance = regulatory risk during your next assessment visit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The webinar that breaks it all down<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>New regulations always come with questions.
